Carbon Reduction Plan 2022-2023

SUSTAINABILITY STATEMENT

Neomed UK recognises that climate change has a sustained negative impact on our lives. Young and vulnerable people are particularly affected by carbon emissions that can impede their well-being. We’re committed to working in partnership with others toward positive environmental impact by ensuring areas of our activities have a long lasting effect. As such, we are committed to achieving net zero by 2030.

In setting clear targets and implementing initiatives to reduce our carbon emissions, we have calculated our footprint based on year ending 2023.

EMISSIONS AND REDUCTION TARGETS

In continuing to work towards net zero, Neomed UK has set targets from year end 2023 to 2040. We aim to achieve a positive environmental impact by implementing the following measures. Changing the way we work, we’re confident schemes that’ll be put in place will achieve net zero against the 2023 baseline.

  • Build awareness amongst our workforce of the impact of their decisions on our journey to net zero.
  • Continue to collect the highest quality data on our emissions to aid in reduction and progress measurement.
  • Make sustainable decisions wherever possible
  • Work alongside suppliers to understand their own carbon reduction targets.
  • Replacing electrical devices with energy efficient
  • Reduce business travel and adopt a sustainable travel policy.
